Elizabeth Loadwick
Elizabeth Loadwick joined Taaleem in the summer of 2004, joining a group of five who were working toward opening schools which would change the landscape of education in Dubai. Elizabeth was involved in the planning and building stage of Uptown Primary School, located in Mirdif. The school opened in September 2005 with 143 students which rose to 200 by the end of that year. Subsequent years have shown significant growth as the IB programmes have become ever popular with the international community.
Elizabeth has enjoyed many years of international teaching and calls Dubai home. She has worked as a teacher and principal for over 30 years. Elizabeth is passionate about the IB philosophy of inquiry and tries to spend as much time as possible with the students in their classrooms. She will be supporting both campuses of Uptown as she follows the futures of the students in her care.
