The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme is specifically designed for students between the ages of 11 and 16. Recognising the unique needs of adolescents and young adults, it provides a well-balanced curriculum that addresses these needs at both a personal and an intellectual level. We focus on helping our students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for success both in the more rigorous IB Diploma Programme and in meeting the challenges of university level work. More than that, the skills and values students develop at this stage will set them up for life after university, providing the strongest tools on which to rely as they navigate whatever paths they choose in a constantly evolving world. Students learn from the MYP a truly international perspective, and are informed about different people, cultures and traditions of our world. They are also encouraged to develop a real commitment to helping others and engaging with their local, national and international communities as responsible members of society.
