Can the MYP programme evaluation and CIS accreditation visits be combined?
The IB and CIS (the Council of International Schools) have agreed to collaborate on a joint process of the MYP evaluation and CIS accreditation. IB World Schools offering MYP seeking accreditation or reaccreditation by the CIS may apply to both organisations for a joint process, provided they meet a number of criteria.

Of course, schools have the right to opt for separate evaluation procedures and visits. However, the integrated process may present a number of advantages. Schools are requested to contact their regional office for guidance on the conditions and the procedures for this joint process.
